Elizabeth Cusack is a California native. Her California ancestors are Scots and Irish, pioneers in San Francisco during the Gold Rush years. Her father’s side is Dutch and English; they settled in New York and fought the British in the Revolutionary War. In her first seventeen years, Elizabeth moved twelve times, living in various states across America and in three cities in the United Kingdom. She graduated high school in Seoul, South Korea. Elizabeth attended Northern Arizona University where she focused on literature and theater. At the age of eighteen, she began acting professionally. She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art. For decades, Elizabeth performed on stage. Lovers Leap is her first book, inspired by the Greek poetess Sappho. Elizabeth has published numerous poems. Her next project is a one-woman play. She resides in California and New Mexico.
